PILOT SCOPE
These terms apply to Sporila's closed, invitation-only, free and no-prize pilot. Before Sporila offers any public, paid, prize-bearing or commercial service, they will be reviewed and replaced by a new version.
1. Scope
Sporila provides a platform for private sports prediction and fantasy competitions. During the pilot, access is by invitation and competitions are intended for a limited group of friends or colleagues. By creating an account, you agree to use the platform only within this pilot scope and in accordance with these terms.
2. Your account
Provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in details confidential. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Tell us promptly through support@sporila.com if you believe somebody else has accessed it. Do not share an account or impersonate another person.
3. Joining and playing competitions
Each competition is configured and run by its organizer: an Organization or the person who created it. The applicable competition page describes the sport, deadlines, scoring rules and access conditions. Check those details before entering. Choices submitted after a deadline are rejected. A draft that has not been submitted is not an entry. A competition code or invitation link is meant for the people the organizer invited; do not pass it on further.
The current pilot does not permit entry fees or prizes. A configuration field or payment-status field in the software does not authorize paid play. Separate reviewed terms and an explicit operational approval are required before any paid or prize-bearing competition may be offered.
4. Fair play
Play independently and in good faith. Do not manipulate results or scores, coordinate accounts to obtain an unfair advantage, exploit errors, interfere with the service, scrape protected data, attempt unauthorized access or disrupt other participants. Report a material scoring or security error rather than exploiting it.
5. Sporting data and scoring
Standings depend on sporting data, configured fantasy rules and submitted entries. Sporting results may be corrected after first publication. Sporila may recalculate scores and standings when source data, a result or a configuration error is corrected. A displayed standing may therefore be provisional until the competition is finalized.
6. Availability and changes
The pilot is provided on a best-effort basis. Maintenance, faults or external services may temporarily make it unavailable. We may change, suspend or end pilot functionality where reasonably necessary for security, integrity, maintenance or product development. When an outage materially affects a deadline, any remedy should be applied consistently to all affected participants.
7. Organizers
Sporila operates the platform. Each organizer is responsible for configuring and administering its competitions and for communicating decisions to its participants. Questions about a competition should first be directed to its organizer. An organizer may remove or block a member for a reason connected to these terms or the competition's own rules; if you disagree with such a decision, you can contact Sporila. Suspected non-compliance with the Platform Rules or a system calculation error may also be reported to Sporila.
8. Enforcement
We may restrict an account or activity while investigating suspected abuse, a security risk or a serious breach of these terms. Any measure should be proportionate to the issue. We will provide a reason when reasonably possible and allow the affected user to contact us about the decision.
9. Personal data
The Privacy Notice explains which personal data the pilot processes, why it is used, how long it is retained and how to exercise privacy rights. Accepting these terms is not consent to optional tracking or unrelated processing.
10. Closing your account
You can close your account from your account page at any time. Closure takes effect after 14 days, during which you can cancel it and cannot take part in competitions. After that, an account that was never used is deleted; otherwise your identity is removed and your past entries remain in standings as a former participant. The Privacy Notice explains what is kept and for how long.
11. Changes, language and contact
Published terms are versioned and are not rewritten. If a new version requires acceptance, you must accept it before continuing to use the platform.
These terms are published in Dutch and English. If the versions differ, the Dutch version prevails.
